Educational Leadership Option, Master of Education in Education (M.ED.)
The Master of Education with an option in Educational Leadership is ideal for a teacher or other certified staff member who desires to prepare for the challenging, meaningful, and essential role of a school leader. The program is grounded in the principles of best practices and current research in educational leadership and management, preparing candidates to meet the diverse needs of a variety of learning environments. In addition, the M.Ed. program meets Washington state requirements for a school principal certificate if candidates satisfy the state’s experience requirement (three years) by program completion. Course work may begin any quarter, including summer. A copy of state teaching or educational staff associate certificate must accompany the graduate application.

Student Learning Outcomes–students will
