Professional Chemistry Minor
The Professional Chemistry Minor is an American Chemical Society approved chemistry degree track, when coupled with a Chemistry, Bachelor of Science degree. All chemistry BS students who complete this minor receive a certificate upon completing this minor.

Students who earn a Professional Chemistry Minor from EWU should be able to:
- demonstrate a broad-based knowledge of major concepts in chemistry;
- use modern instrumentation and techniques to analyze chemicals;
- demonstrate effective communication skills as related to the field of biochemistry;
- demonstrate knowledge of safe practices in handling chemicals;
- demonstrate advanced skills in biochemistry problem solving in preparation for graduate studies or professional employment.
