Photography Minor
The Photography Minor provides undergraduate students a rigorous academic and hands-on program of study. This program offers students the opportunity to develop both technical and conceptual skills in one of the dominant media of our time.
With courses selected from the Art and Design departments, this multidisciplinary curriculum helps students build important creative and professional skills, including but not limited to: camera operation, digital editing workflow, studio/on-location lighting, project development, portfolio preparation, image presentation/exhibition, and photographic theory. This minor prepares students to immediately utilize these skills in a wide variety of personal and professional applications.
The inherent flexibility and ubiquity of the photographic medium make this minor incredibly valuable for students from diverse educational backgrounds and professional trajectories.
