Students who earn an MA In English with an Emphasis in Literature and Writing at EWU should be able to do the following:
- employ appropriate research methods for graduate-level writing projects;
- produce texts that conform to the conventions of academic or professional writing;
- document reflective practice in conjunction with academic writing or teaching;
- conduct an effective literary analysis through writing article-length papers;
- demonstrate facility with literary theory.
