Africana Studies Minor
The program offers a minor in Africana Studies. Students gain an understanding of the African American, Caribbean and African experiences from ancient Africa to present-day. Africana Studies benefits graduates planning careers in professions where multicultural public contact is extensive, such as education, counseling, social services, medicine, government and many other fields that require diverse perspectives.
