Eastern Washington University is an integral part of Spokane’s University District. Located just east of the downtown business core, the University District includes the following facilities:

Catalyst Building

Located on the south landing of the University District Gateway Bridge in Spokane, the Catalyst is home to several EWU programs: Addiction Studies, Business, Computer Science, Creative Writing, Cybersecurity, Design, Electrical Engineering, Healthcare Administration, Professional Accounting, Public Administration, Public Health, Social Work, and Urban and Regional Planning.

Health Sciences Building

The Health Sciences Building houses four state-of-the-art Eastern programs in the College of Health Science and Public Health: Occupational Therapy; Physical Therapy; Dental Hygiene; and RIDE (Regional Initiatives in Dental Education).

SIERR Building
850 East Spokane Falls Blvd., Spokane, WA 99202
The SIERR Building houses the School of Nursing and the Communication Sciences and Disorders program and is part of the growing Health Peninsula in Spokane. This unique location creates the optimal hub for research, development, and advancement of health sciences and builds upon partnerships with nearby hospitals, clinics, and health education centers to create a comprehensive learning experience.
