Women’s & Gender Studies Minor
A Women’s & Gender Studies minor complements majors in a variety of disciplines. It signals to graduate/professional schools and employers knowledge of an important field and expertise in diversity and inclusion. Through the WGS minor, students examine women’s histories and contributions and learn how gender intersects with other socio-political categories and relations of power, such as race, indigeneity, class, nationality, religion, age, and ability.
The minor may also be taken in partial fulfillment of requirements for the Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.
