Religious Studies Minor
This minor is designed for those students majoring in an allied discipline and preparing for graduate seminary study, or for students majoring in any other discipline but wishing to pursue the subject of religion for its importance in other fields. Students are also advised to consider other offerings in the humanities program. All interested students should consult with the program advisor or the coordinator of humanities.

Students who earn a Religious Studies Minor at EWU should be able to:
- systematically examine religious texts, doctrines, and faith practices to identify patterns and anomalies;
- evaluate and apply different theories to understand religious texts, doctrines, and faith practices;
- clearly express conclusions regarding their study of religious data;
- identify the limitations of conclusions drawn from the scholarly study of religions.
