Anthropology Minor

The anthropology minor lets students get a taste of our field - exploring peoples and cultures of the world, both now and in the past.

The minor starts with one 200-level class in either Biological Anthropology, Archaeology, Linguistic Anthropology, or Cultural Anthropology. Then students take two more upper-division classes of their choice. This flexibility allows students to complete the minor while doing general education or just explore what's out there.

Anthropology students pursue careers and graduate education in fields such as cultural resource management (archaeology and history), public health, and community outreach. They work in education, with community organizations and global non-profits, the state and federal government, and cultural resource management firms.
