The Social Studies program at Eastern Washington University assists students seeking a Bachelor of Arts in Education (BAE) with a Social Studies Major endorsement as well as a History Minor endorsement.

The minor is for students pursuing a major endorsement for a BAE and want to add a History Secondary Minor endorsement to their program plan. This minor is designed to help prepare students to teach 5^th–12^th grade history classes, including World History, U.S. History, and Washington State History.

This minor satisfies the state endorsement for grades 5–12.
